Film actor Milind Soman had revealed in his biography that he must have been 10 when he was a child. Then at the behest of his father, he used to go to the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh branch. Milind Soman has also quipped in his style on this. In his biography ‘Made in India’, model-actor Milind Soman has spoken about going to the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) branch in childhood.

Soman narrates his experience of going to the local ‘shakha’ at Shivaji Park in Mumbai. He has written that his father always believed that Milind as a youth joined the junior cadres of the RSS with a disciplined life, good physical ability and move forward with the right thinking and serve the country.

Milind Soman further wrote that when he read about the RSS printed in newspapers, the media held him responsible for something. While his memories associated with the branch are entirely different. In the memoir, Soman further writes that his father was an RSS volunteer himself and was proud to be a Hindu. After this, Milind started trending on social media.

I wish this trend were also for swimming, which I was doing at that time too!” Milind is also known for his fitness. He often was seen making a record of running several kilometres.
